When visiting a DMV office you may go to the <strong>\u201cStart Here\u201d <\/strong>sign to request any assistance or accommodation you might need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specially Designated Counter for People with Disabilities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After checking in at the &#8220;Start Here&#8221; window, you can go to a designated counter for people with disabilities and get a queue ticket to wait for DMV services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Office Manager at any DMV Office<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can speak to the office manager at any DMV office that you call or visit. DMV office managers are trained to assist people with disabilities and offer accommodation if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DMV Driver Safety Offices &#8211; Disabled Parking and Building Access Maps<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>All <a href=\"\/portal\/driver-education-and-safety\/driver-safety-offices\/\">DMV Driver Safety Office<\/a> listings now include a map showing where people with disabilities can park and get building access for that specific office.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-dmv-spacer-block spacer-box\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For Speech Impaired, Deaf, and Hard of Hearing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a speech or impairment or are deaf or hard of hearing, you can call a TTY toll-free number for assistance with DMV services.
