This online system allows you to purchase a Mussel Fee Sticker (also known as a Quagga Sticker). Unless used exclusively in marine (salt) waters or specifically exempted by law, owners of motorized recreational vessels used in freshwater are mandated by law to display a current sticker.
The fee for the sticker is $16 and expires at the same time as the vessel registration renewal sticker. Failure to properly display the sticker on your vessel may result in a citation.
As of 2021, the purchase of a Mussel Fee (Quagga) sticker is a separate transaction from your vessel registration and renewal and the sticker will be mailed to you separately.
For instructions on how to properly affix the Mussel Fee sticker to the hull of the vessel, please see our Frequently Asked Questions.
