Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles is alerting customers that the Redlands field office at 1659 W. Lugonia Ave. will be closing for renovations beginning Thursday, August 27, at 5 p.m. The office is scheduled to reopen Monday, November 16, at 8 a.m.
The improvements include replacing the roof and the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, painting the interior and exterior, and adding new office furniture.
DMV offices are assisting customers with existing appointments and walk-in customers as time and space allow.
Customers can visit the following nearby field offices during the renovations:
- San Bernardino 1310 N. Waterman Ave., 10 miles
- Riverside 6280 Brockton Ave., 19 miles
- Riverside East 6425 Sycamore Canyon Blvd., 21 miles
- Fontana 8026 Hemlock Ave., 22 miles
The DMV continues to recommend that customers use its online services, expanded virtual services and other service channels to complete transactions, including eligible driver’s license and vehicle registration renewals. Customers can use the Service Advisor on the DMV website to learn their options to complete DMV tasks.
