Adding Your Subscription
- Enter your email address. Select the Login button to submit your information. (The Login button will remain disabled if no e-mail address is entered.)
- The Welcome Page: Enter your email address in the Verify Email Address box and select the Login button.
- The Subscribe Here Page: Enter your Businesses name in the name field. (if individual use N/A). Select the type of information that you would like to receive. At least one box must be checked.
- A confirmation page will be displayed. Review the data entered. If all the new subscription information is correct, select. If the information is not correct, select the Cancel button to return to the data entry page. Repeat Step 2.
- Your subscription information will be updated and a message confirming that your subscription has been updated will be displayed. An email will immediately be sent to you informing you that you must confirm your new subscription within two (2) days of receipt of the e-mail or your new subscription will be deleted.
- Please add DMVNewInformationNotification@DMVEmailAlert.ca.gov to your safe sender list; otherwise, your mailbox filter or ISP may stop you from receiving information from DMV’s email alert system.
Updating Your Subscription

- If you have currently subscribed to receive emails for any information types, your current subscription information will be displayed. Modify your current information and select the Submit button.
- A confirmation page will be displayed. Review the data entered. If all the new subscription information is correct, select. If the information is not correct, select the Cancel button to return to the data entry page. Repeat Step 2.
- Your subscription information will be updated and a message confirming that your subscription has been updated will be displayed. If you subscribed to any new information types, an email will immediately be sent to you informing you that you must confirm your new subscription within two (2) days of receipt of the email or your new subscription will be deleted.

Delete Your Subscription
- Enter your email address. Select the Login button to submit your information. (The Login button will remain disabled if no email address is entered.)
- If you have subscribed to receive emails for any information types, your current subscription information will be displayed. Remove any information types to which you no longer wish to subscribe. Removal of all information types will delete you from DMV’s email alert system. Select the Submit button.
- A confirmation page will be displayed. Review the data entered. If all the deleted subscription information is correct, select the Confirm button. If the information is not correct, select the Cancel button to return to the data entry page. Repeat Step 2.
- Your subscription information will be deleted and a message confirming that the subscription has been deleted will be displayed.
