Sacramento – The DMV Oceanside field office at 4005 Plaza Drive in Oceanside will remain closed at least through Wednesday while crews clean up water damage caused by an irrigation system leak. Water flooded the office’s front entrance, forcing its closure on Monday, July 16. The office is conducting behind-the-wheel exams and appointments are being honored at nearby offices.
Customers are advised to visit one of the following nearby offices:
|San Marcos Rancheros||590 Rancheros Drive, 11 miles|
|Poway||13461 Community Road, 27 miles|

The DMV apologizes for the inconvenience and reminds customers online services are available 24/7. By visiting www.dmv.ca.gov, they can renew their vehicle registration and driver license (not available for REAL ID), request a driver record and schedule an appointment.
The DMV website also will provide updates on the Oceanside office.
